Nestled between a lush four-hectare forest and a calm, shallow lagoon, Lagen Island, El Nido Resorts’ Eco-Sanctuary island resort, has the densest forest over limestone out of the 45 islands and islets of Bacuit Bay. Lagen Island serves as a sanctuary for a diverse variety of birds and mammals. Observe and delight in different endemic species flourishing in their natural habitat. Hike through Lagen’s forest trail which leads to a rewarding view of one of the coves on the other side of the island.
Accommodations
Lagen Island has a total of 51 rooms that incorporate timber recycled from old Filipino homes for floors and furnishings to evoke charm and quiet luxury. Designed for maximum tranquility and calm, all rooms feature full-height sliding glass doors that open to a private veranda. There are 20 Forest Rooms located at the fringe of the forest; 4 Forest Suites are located at the upper level of the Forest Room Complex. Each Forest Suite has a floor area of 70sqm that can comfortably house three, and features a bath tub and twin vanities. There are 18 Water Cottages built on stilts above the water, and nine Beachfront Cottages with a panoramic view of the cove. Each of these rooms can accommodate a family of 3 persons.
Water Cottage
These cottages are inividually build on stilts which are connected by a boardwalk. Each Water Cottage has a total area of 53 sqm and can accommodate 3 adults/ 3 adults and 1 child/ 2 adults and 2 children (7-11 years old)/ 1 adult and 3 children.
Forest Suite
These suites are the most luxurious rooms at Lagen Island. Apart from the standard in-room amenities, the Forest Suite gas a bath tub, and it has a total area of 70sqm. Each Forest Suite can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child (12 years old and below).
Forest Room
Located where Lagen's lush forest starts, the Forest Rooms are built adjacent to each other on two complexes that offer uupper and lower accommodations. Each 53sqm room can accommodate a family of 3 adults/ 3 adults and 1 child/ 2 adults and 2 children (7-11 years old)/ 1 adult and 3 children.
Beachfront Room
The Beachfront Room are located at the waterfront offering one of the best views of the cove and the famous El Nido sunset. Each cottage has a total area of 53sqm and can accommodate 3 adults / 3 adults and 1 child / 2 adults and 2 children (7-11 years old) / 1 adult and 3 children.

Getting Here
AirSwift is located at Manila Domestic Airport Terminal 4, Andrews Ave, Pasay, 1300 Metro Manila
Airswift offers daily flights from Manila to El Nido, Palawan. Travel time is approximately 55 minutes using a 48 and 72-seater ATR aircraft. Upon arrival at Lio airport in El Nido, guests will be welcomed by the resort’s airport representative and will be guided to the Terminal Exit. There will be a 10 to 15-minute club car ride to the El Nido Resorts Jetty Lounge followed by a 40 to 50-minute boat ride to Lagen Island depending on tide and weather conditions.

From Puerto Princesa, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan:
El Nido is also accessible by land from Puerto Princesa City, Palawan. It takes approximately 6-hours to travel by land from Puerto Princesa City to El Nido, Palawan.
From Coron, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan:
Airswift airline offers flights from Busuanga airport (Coron) to El Nido, Palawan. Flight takes approximately 40 minutes.
From San Vicente, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan:
San Vicente, Palawan is also a jump-off point to El Nido, Palawan. It takes approximately 3 hours to travel by land from San Vicente, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan. Please note your island resort’s boat transfers schedule before booking your preferred van transfers from San Vicente, Palawan to El Nido, Palawan and vice versa.
For AirSWIFT passengers and guests staying near Lio Airport, club car transfers are located beside the Lio Airport Terminal Exit.
For guests staying in El Nido Town and Corong-Corong, transfers are available at the Lio Tourism Estate, El Nido Resorts’ Jetty Lounge. Guests must present their El Nido Resorts’ Room Vouchers to Estate Security to access the Jetty Lounge. Cut-off time for special arrangements is 1 hour before scheduled departure of the resorts’ complimentary boat transfers.
