Environmental Concern

TKDC has gained recognition for environmental conservation and management. Among the major conservation initiatives that Ten Knots has implemented include patrolling and surveillance against illegal fishing, forest resource extraction and marine pollution, as well as research of endangered marine species such as sea turtles and seacows (dugong). Staff members are an integral part of the education of guests who participate in conservation activities and share information on the natural environment.
